As Hotel Director Mr. Jacques Wulffaert was responsible for the entire Hotel Operation. This included overseeing everything from housekeeping, galley (kitchen), restaurant, bar, storage, entertainment and enrichment program, guest services, shore excursions, and laundry operations. The ship had a world wide itinerary.

Mr. Wulffaert was promoted to a senior management position where he was responsible for the finance and budget of the ship and guest services. He also helped them develop a new cruise concept. This was his first shoreside position in the US.
